PRESS RELEASE: Call Afenyo-Markin To Order To Avoid Immediate Clash And War - Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Council To Akufo-Addo

Nananom of Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Council led by the Paramount Chief, Obrempong Nyanful Krampah, the former Central Regional House of Chiefs' President in a press conference held Monday October 4, 2021 at Gomoa Ajumako has called on His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to call Mr Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markin to order in a immediate and urgent request and intervention to avoid immediate clash and war.

According to the Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Council, Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markin, the Member of the Parliament (MP) for the Effutu constituency in the Central Region who also serves as a member of the committee on Defense and Interior Committee in Ghana Parliament in a dubious means claiming the lands of Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area to Effutu Traditional Area ( Winneba) of which the issue has been officially addressed to the Regional Minister, Hon. Justina Marigold Assan and a petition to the Interior Minister respectively but to no avail.

The Paramount Chief, Obrempong Nyanful Krampah XI, Chiefs, elders and the law abiding citizens of Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area have disclosed in a press conference in a "Re-petion of Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area against the Effutu Traditional Area; and request for immediate and urgent request and intervention to avoid immediate clash of war."

"The petition of the Chiefs and the good and law abiding citizens of Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area in the Central Region of the Republic of Ghana" with a humble petition to Nana Akufo-Addo.

"We are giving a week ultimatum to the President to call Hon. Afenyo Martin to order with this petition and failure shall force us to protect our lands with immediate clash and war."
