Hon. Gyakye Quayson made this statement in his encounter with the students of Assin North Senior High Technical School - (ANSTECH).
Speaking to five hundred and forty (540) registered final year students, the teaching and non-teaching staff stressed that, "education in general opens up your mind".
"I can see future leaders here but don't let anybody pull you that education is not important. In fact, it determines everything you do in your life, whether it is your relationship with your family, wealth, people you work for or people who will be working for you".
"The value of the education is one of the reasons why I came back from Canada to come lead this course because we are lacking education in Africa. Sometimes in life when you live a life to certain level, you want to give back to some people".
"I thought education is so crucial, so important in our system, otherwise people just take an advantage of it".
He pleaded and encouraged the students to focus on their studies and not to feel shy to ask for help and questions that bothers their mind pending their final examination.
Honourable Member of Parliament for Assin North explicits his heartfelt good luck message and promise to lay down good measures to support every student, because, there will come a time they may need help to tertiary institutions.
"I will work in collaboration with the headteachers of all the schools in Assin North in a way we can place you, but your protocol will depends on your result," he added.
