MP Pledges Continuous Support For Assin North, Donates 1k Led Street Light

Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin North, Hon James Gyakye Quayson popularly known in the area as Hon Joe Quayson has assured the good people of the constituency of his continues support to the district as he donates one thousand (1,000) Led Street Light.

Speaking at the program when he made a donation of over 1k boxes of Led Street Light as part of his social responsibility as a Member of Parliament and noted the importance of individual support to Assin North in performing its correctional responsibilities, and promised to develop every community in the Assin North District. 

He said, “I will continue to visit you and support Assin North, whenever there is the need to be together I will be right there. It is always a pleasure to come and see how you’re doing and I assure that, I won’t forget to serve my people. If we all give our little support, I’m sure together we can develop Assin North”.

"I have brought you 1,200 led street light; 200 from the assembly and the 1000 as my corporate social responsibility as you all remember, several complains that was made known to me during the campaign season concerning electrification and on my scale of preference, it was the first following others", Hon Joe Quayson stressed.

He encouraged the individuals to take the guidance of every initiative seriously and contribute to the development of the district and the country at large. 

Hon James Gyakye Quayson highlighted a number of challenges stifling the smooth operation and the development of Assin North and asked for cooperation to address them orderly. 

He promised to initiate youth in apprenticeship program, building and renovation of hospitals, police stations, sports complex,  roads, among others, he emphasized.

The Chief of Assin Bereku, Nana Frimpong Baah Tufuhene (I), on behalf of the Assin North Traditional Council thanked and showed his heartfelt appreciation to the Honorable Member of Parliament, Hon James Gyakye Quayson for such kind gesture and his splendid initiatives which will bring massive development and pleaded with the residents for support in moving Assin North District in a better grounds.

The residents thereby calling on the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, DCE and other cooperate bodies to come to aid help put an end to the deplorable state of their roads.
