The members of Nkusukum Traditional Council has emphatically stated that, they do not know and recognized any other person as their Acting President apart from Nana Kwesi Brebo (III) as they complain bitterly on how and why a letter was given to the Acting President to step aside without a copy to the Traditional Council.
The Standing Committee after several meetings and consultation with the Nkusukum Traditional Council at Saltpond following a copy of the letter to the Acting President which was read to their hearing, has challenge Central Regional House of Chiefs to come out with their reason(s) as to why the Acting President must step aside.
According to the Nkusukum Traditional Council in a Press Conference stated that, the reason(s) why Nana Kwesi Brebo (III) must step down was not really stated as they stressed on the saying, 'he who alleges must prove', they said.
Speaking to the media, Nana Kwa Bonko (V) said, "Nana Kwesi Brebo (III) as known by the Council Members has not involved himself in any chieftaincy issue neither does he has any problem with anyone following several questionnaire and consultation", he stressed.
The Nkusukum Traditional Council is therefore appealing to the Central Regional House of Chiefs to withdraw their statement hence they challenge them to come out with their reason(s).
