GOV'T MUST PROVIDE EQUIPMENT TO EMPOWER POLICE SECURITY PERSONNEL - NANA ETUAFU URGES

Sanaahen of Enyan Denkyire Traditional Council who also doubles as Omankrado of Enyan Obontse in the Ajumako Enyan Assiam District of the Central Region, Nana Oseadeeyo Etuafu has urged the government as he showers word of advice to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) James Oppong Boanuh, to make sure there is adequate equipment which will empower the police personnel to emulate them in the good fate.

Speaking to media at the 'Ahobaa karaaba' festival celebration, Sanaahen Nana Etuafu said, the rate of insecurities in the country is increasing in numbers and it needs to be addressed, the way armed robbers have been targeting the security personnel is not encouraging at all.

On 'sakawa' issue, Sanaahen advised the youths to stay away from such appalling behaviour as quick money has ended many people in many troubles especially as a result of losing of once life.

He further expressed that, "those who failed their examination is most believed to have involved themselves in 'sakawa' without being focused with their books".

Nana hence pleaded with the government "to make sure there is enough advice to the youths in his speeches, provide adequate materials and equipment to appropriate quarters in order to strengthens the security guard of the country".
