C/R: Man, 65 Shot Dead At Ekumfi

Information reaching Africanewsarenagh.com indicates that, a man believed to have be in 65years named Egya Abrokwah has allegedly shot himself to dead at Ekumfi Ebiram in the Ekumfi District of the Central Region.

According to the residents, Mr Abrokwah is known to be a retired teacher and a hunter as well, of which he normally goes to work on daily basis.

Reaching one of his children, Esther Abrokwah Mensah said, she had a call from Brother Kwadwo one of her siblings saying, their father has called him to quickly be of help and take him to the hospital following a direction but just to be at the place seeing his father at the pool of blood.

The wife of the deceased, Mary Abekah stressed that, "he is not someone who keeps secret, he made everything know to me and his reactions does not shows there is something worrying him".

"I was at the seashore selling my kenkey but just to receive a phone call that my husband has shot dead".

Speaking in an interview with the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ekumfi, Bernard Bright Grant also confirmed the sadden incident and gives his side of the story.

"The deceased is now at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital Morgue. We are not expect and we are waiting for an autopsy report whiles police investigation is ongoing", he said.
