The Member of Parliament for Mfantseman Constituency in the Central Region, Hon Ophelia Mensah Hayford popularly known in her Constituency by the Muslim Community as Hon Hajia Saidatu Ophelia Mensah Hayford has paid a day visit to Islamic Women's Organization in her Constituency as she donated 12 pieces of Woolen Prayer Mats, 80 Kettles (Butas), potable sound systems to Muslim Communities in Mankessim.
Speaking to the media, some members of the Islamic Women's Organization shared their challenge and crisis in which the association is facing.
They said, the youths in the Islamic community needs a lot of helping hands to improve their life style, some have completed Senior High Schools and they need to further it but they are lacking behind, others also lamented that, they need capital to start business and on the other purposes pleaded to Hon Hajia Saidatu to assist them with a bus.
The Member of Parliament for Mfantseman Constituency, Hon Saidatu Mensah also in response said, she is ever ready to develop the Constituency through Human Empowerment as she urged the youths to join her Apprenticeship Programme.
"I am ready for anyone who want to further his/her education and assist those in business in consultation with other corperate companies as you are pleading for a loan support to expand your businesses.
In fact, I am for all", Hajia stressed.
