C/R: WE WILL DEAL WITH THE CHINESE BOOT FOR BOOT - SALTPOND PACKAGING WORKERS

The Chairman for Saltpond Packaging Workers, Mr John Amissah has revealed that, they will deal with the Chinese Boss for an attempt made by sacking the workers from Saltpond Packaging Company without reason.

Speaking to journalists, Chairman Amissah said, the Chinese are sacking the workers misslesely and refuses to pay their salary as well. He was pleading on company to resolve issues with regards to the payment of salary but it ended in conflicting views, and this has affected the workers performance in bed as a lot complains pressure are leveled again them. 

The Central Regional Officer for Industrial and Commercial Union (ICU), Mr Moses Kwaku Ottoo also disclosed that, the Chinese are treating Saltpond Packaging workers like slaves and do not give the workers good accommodation even in Covid-19 era, no Veronica bucket but the Chinese are refusing them to solve the problem in a matured manner.

Mr Ottoo assured the workers to stay calm as the Union will liase with other leaders and ensure the right thing is done for them to have their freedom.
