C/R: We Don't Agree With The Decongestion Exercise - 1st Vice Chairman Laments

The 1st Vice Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Mfantseman Municipality, Mr Berchie-Nuako popularly known by the people as 'Wofa Yaw' has complain bitterly, lamenting that, he does not understands why decongestion exercise took place today at Mankessim. 

Speaking on the Anopahemaa Morning Show on Obrumankoma FM host by Kweku Darko he said, today is market day at Mankessim and he does not know why he was not called if there has been a stakeholders meeting.

"Don't ask me questions with respect to the ongoing decongestion exercise, I knew nothing about that. Let them do whatever they like. The MCE for Mfantseman, Hon Kenneth Kelly Essuman to lay down proper measures and stop sacking the traders and drivers", Wofa Yaw emphasized.

He also stressed on the abandoned market project.

Following a meeting held yesterday at Saltpond which include the MCE, assembly members, Chiefs,  town planners, Police, High and Feeder Road Authorities and other stakeholders as to how to deal with the issue of congestion in Mfantseman Municipality especially Mankessim and it was concluded to take an action as today marks market day.
