Dialogue on Security Issues In Kasoa And The Way Forward

The Awutu Senya East Municipal Chief Executive Hon Michael Yaw Essuman Mensah who doubles as the Chairman of the Municipal Security Council on Wednesday, 21st April, 2021 graced the occasion on the theme "Dialogue on Security Issues in Kasoa and the way forward.

In the course of his speech, Hon. Michael assured the chiefs that he will do everything possible to erase the the perception that Kasoa is hotspot for crime.

He however, called on media reporters to always consider the geographical location of crimes before reporting since many crime related  incidences that appens outside the Awutu Senya East jurisdiction are even still considered to have happened within Kasoa by the reporters.

Speaking on behalf of the Member of Parliament, Hon Mrs Mavis Hawa Koomson, the Constituency Chairman Hon Alhaji Ibrahim Abu Sadat also promised her support to make sure the bad name behind Kasoa will be a thing of the past.

Other dignitaries who also accompanied Hon Michael Yaw Essuman Mensah are the Constituency Chairman NPP, Hon Alhaji Ibrahim Abu Sadat, Awutu Senya East Municipal Presiding Member and Otamens Electoral Area Assembly Member Hon Jones Kwasi Kwarteng, Ofaakor Electoral Area Coordinator Mr Sam and some party faithfuls.
