MFANTSEMAN MP HAS AGAIN DONATED ITEMS TO SOME ZONGO COMMUNITIES

As part of 'thank you tour', the Member of Parliament for Mfantseman Constituency in the Central Region, Hon Ophelia Mensah Hayford has again donated items to the Mankessim Zongo Community.

She visited the good people of Mankessim Zongo Community, Opem, Takorase, Efutuakwa and Owuya.

The MP for Mfantseman Constituency who was honoured a new name by Her Execllency Mrs Samira Bawumia, the second lady of the land (Ghana) was again revealed by the Mankessim Zongo Community as Seidatu Ophelia Mensah Hayford.

The Honourable Member of Parliament in her address thanked the various communities and encouraged them specially the Muslims in this season of Ramadan and asked Allah to strengthen and showers His blessings on them and Ghana as a nation.

She then promised to continue every single project which was initiated by her Late husband, Hon Ekow Quansah Hayford (May His Soul Rest In Peace) and even do more as she seeks for prayer support by all.

Alhaji Assan Mohammed, one of the leaders of Zongo Communities also stressed that, "there is an annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, a mandatory religious duty for Muslims that must be carried out at least once in their lifetime by all adult Muslims who are physically and financially capable of undertaking the journey, and of supporting their family during their absence from home. 

Alhaji therefore pleaded with the Honourable Member Seidatu to help the Chiefs and the Imams of the Zongo Communities in that manner' he said.
