Commercial drivers who plough the Sofoline lorry terminal in the Kwadaso Municipality of the Ashanti region have expressed their frustrations towards the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), over the toll they have been taking from them on daily basis.
According to the aggrieved drivers, they see no use of paying tolls to the KMA, as they feel KMA is extorting money from them unlawfully.
The aggrieved drivers in an interview with the media, have questioned the KMA on what basis they should be made to pay 2GHC twice a day for a ticket in almost every lorry terminal for some weeks.
They have therefore threatened to stage on demonstration against the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, as they feel being cheated, they emphasized.
